My name is Angelika, I am from Moscow, I have an academic art school background.

I have come a long way during my time at WdKA. I was searching for my format since year one and have delivered experimental movies, silent performances, oil and acrylic paintings, and installations.

On my third year I decided to make a storyline about contemporary art, and the format of a book was fitting that project really well. Since then, I’ve dived deeper into the art of book and zine making.

I’ve also become much more open minded; Coming from Russia, this year I have made a project about Feminism: my last project included the creation of a zine about the female cultural identity.

Now I am working with the topic of Body Positivity, researching how unrealistic beauty standards are influencing young females. Trying to raise awareness and contribute to the fight against patriarchal vision on women.
